Pet Dragon Info:
I have two baby rankin dragons. One male called Bing and one female called Sula. They were named by my granddaughter.
Hi

My Rankins love to be sprayed and drink the water as it drips off them. I was wondering if they might like one of the dripper plants you can buy as I read they do not like to drink from a still bowl of water and in the wild lick the dew from plants.

They do have a large water bowl in their tank as they also like to bath themselves in it.

The water bowl is at the cool end and I would have room to put the dripper that end as well so that it doesn't raise the humidity too much.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

I would advise against it, as too much humidity in their environment can lead to upper respiratory infections. Rankins are a desert lizard, so prefer lower humidity. The water bow should be plenty.

Hope this helps,
Mark
